I’ve have needed optical care for a bed ridden sister following her massive stroke. She occupies her time with coloring books so having her vision has been a high priority. The people at Hillmore Optical couldn’t have been more helpful, thoughtful and professional. They have a huge selection of frames. Dr. Samuel Ham saved my vision. My retinal tear happened around 3:30 pm on a Friday. This office was kind enough to take me as an emergency patient. After my examination, I was informed that I immediately needed to go immediately to the Bascom Eye center in Miami, as I had a large retinal tear. If left alone, within days it could become a retinal detachment. Even though it all scared me, Dr Ham was very kind and explained everything to me. Even after being at the ER all night with an early morning appointment at 7:00 a.m. at the Bascom Eye Center, the Hillmoor Optical office called me on my way home to make sure I had emergency care and to see how I was doing. Who does this? I even received a call to help me with finding a doctor that will take my health care. I was very grateful for the kindness and care at this office. Unfortunately, we rarely get this kind of personalized care nowadays, and you have to be your own advocate for your health. I just want to thank everyone at Hillmoor Optical for taking such good care of me.

If it were not for the knowledge and concern from the lady who the phone to Dr Perron i could have very well lost my sight in the right eye. I had 5 or 6 different eye places to get nothing but an apologetic “I’m sorry” there isn’t a doctor or an appt available until next week. I heard over and over. I’d be blind by then. So the ladt place i called was Hillmore. After an immediate appt they strongly advised me to go right then to Bascom Palmer in Miami, the retina had detached from. The eye. My husband and I were driving in the middle of a nightmare on a Friday at 5pm. By 8m. I saw the surgeon. The next day at 7pm I was having surgery on my eye.
Not one…not one other optical place was willing to help on a Friday not one.
Hillmore optical receptionist who answered the phone and Dr Perron cared plenty, their knowledge and professionalism saved my sight.i will forever be grateful.

I came here for my contact appointment. After meeting with the doctor and her staff, I went to the optical showroom and met Veronica. Veronica was very outgoing and awesome.

Veronica spent a ton of time with me, more than she probably had to. She helped me with my contact order. She then helped me by getting a new frame for my glasses and lenses. Veronica then showed me sunglasses which was hard to say no to.

I have to follow up next week and get my contacts and glasses and I’m still debating on my sunglasses.

I will be coming back largely due to Veronica!!

I am a new patient of Dr Lund. She found that my eye prescription was inaccurate, and gave me the correct prescription. I was also helped by the entire staff. I Can See!!! After a fall, my vision in my right eye was seeing double! My nerve to my brain was injured. It took 6 months to heal as much as it was going to. I was referred by Sarasota retina specialists to see Dr. Lund at Hillmoor Optical on US #1 in Port St. Lucie. Today they called to say my new glasses were in. A prism was placed in both lenses at the factory. I cried the minute they put them on me. I COULD SEE!!!! I was not an existing patient (but I will be now!) I had a medical emergency with my eye and they fit me in within 30 min. The care and concern expressed by Dr. Jessica Lund and the team at Hillmoor Optical was so impressive that it took me only two visits to switch from my other long term (20 year) eyecare provider to them.

This level of care and concern for a simple walk in that they don’t even have a long term patient care relationship with is rare, and the hallmark of a great doctor and a wonderful supportive team.

Every staff member made you feel welcomed . Front desk checkin was seamless. The tech was so pleasant and Dr. Lund was just amazing! You can tell she really loves what she does and is very thorough. My last encounter was with Veronica. She helped me pick out my glasses and was just extremely helpful to ensure I picked the right ones, more importantly ones that I loved. She was wonderful! Just had my first eye exam and service here at Hillmoor Optical. It was such a great experience from reception to picking out the glasses themselves. Everyone was very sweet and informative. As a French native I know fashion and style. Hillmoor Optical is the best place in the area for fashionable eye wear without exception. They are also incredibly skilled at choosing the correct frame for your face shape and skin tones, and the best lenses for your lifestyle. I can’t wait for my sister to visit from Paris at Christmas time so I can bring her here for new glasses.

Today was the first time I had ever been to Hillmoor Optical. I only stopped in to see if they could put the screw and right arm of my reading glasses back on. They were quite busy but did not hesitate to accommodate me. It only took her a minute or two to repair them and they did not even charge me. Not only are the doctor’s eye exams thorough, they take the time to explain the procedure and how the results are important to you. Once I had my new prescription, I decided to check out the selection in store to see if I could find something to my liking. Their men’s frames were very stylish and contemporary and the staff helped me choose several that fit my face properly. I have never had so much individual attention in choosing the right product for my needs, and budget. Never did I feel pressured to choose a more expensive pair of glasses, the help provided was only to insure that I was happy with my choices and comfortable with my options. Amazing customer service and great people skills, both at doctor’s office and the optical side. Dr. Zondag was very nice, thorough and listened to all my questions. She did not rush me, despite having other patients waiting in the waiting room. Dan at the optical side of the office was also amazing. I have a hard time finding frames that fit well (since my skin is so sensitive) and he was extremely helpful. I have had to go back to the office on several occasions for adjustments and the staff has always been great. Never a complain, never a bad face, and never in a hurry. If you are looking for a great optical and/or optometrist in Port St. Lucie, this is definitely the place to go. I am relatively new to the area and could not be more pleased. I will definitely be a repeat customer, and highly recommend this place.

Had an appointment yesterday with Dr.Lund. Everything about my appointment was above and beyond any other eye appointment I have ever had. The staff were very pleasant and courteous. I told Dr. Lund it was the very best eye exam I ever had. The place is immaculate. They have a room dedicated to taking off your contacts with a sink with soap and water, a lighted mirror to put your trial lens on. I had just three days before this visit had a glaucoma exam at a different vision place. They didn’t have any place to put on or take off your contacts and no place to wash your hands. I am a customer for life!

How can you not do business with this extraordinary company that still masters the art of customer service!! In a crisis I came to them to help me with a contact lens. The owner personally took it upon himself to fix my problem and get me a new contact lens. He went above and beyond any other. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate them a 12. Glad to have found this place. The owner and front office staff are incredibly sweet and go above and beyond for customers. The doctor is very professional and clearly explains any and everything. When it came to upgrading my eyeglass prescription, Hillmoor Optical provided an incredibly thorough eye exam and helped me work out the optimum solutions for indoor/outdoor photography and computer work with lightweight designer frames and top-quality lenses providing both progressive and Transition features. When you’re in a pinch and need a pair of RX sunglasses repaired Hillmoor Optical is the place to go. My Maui Jim frames broke, they were repaired in a weeks time. Also, Hillmoor has a huge selection of Maui Jim sunglasses to choose from, along with excellent customer service in helping to select just the right pair. I am very happy customer.

So today my mom went to Hillmoor Optical for an eye exam and glasses. They were EXTREMELY pleasant and efficient. The doctor was pleasant with a sense of humor. The whole process was AWESOME, and when she came out with the glasses to choose from we were blown away because they NEVER treated us differently because she has a MEDICAID product!! And they had so many great choices covered by the Insurance!!! Needless to say we loved it there and I will be going myself to be a patient, because if they treat the low income on disability like royalty then why would I go anywhere else So nice to see a group of professionals act professional. I have been seeing Dan & Laura for over 10 years now. They are an amazing husband/wife team who just hit it out of the park every single time I come in. I am terrible with glasses plus I’m the house designee to take in the family issues all the time. Everyone @Hillmoor Optical always greets me with a big giant smile and gladly help me every single time. They carry a vast and ever changing selection in their newly-expanded store. They also have catalogs where countless more can be special ordered like a pair of Bolle’s I was seeking. And their doctor is always the consumate professional, even with my young child.

I had the most amazing experience at Hillmoor Optical, my needs had changed drastically from the last time I had paid them a visit and they could not have been more understanding and helpful. I have been coming here for 13 years. I get my eyes examed and purchase my glasses here. The staff is friendly and very kind and helpful. I had an allergic reaction to a pair of frames. They took them back and worked with me to find a pair I could wear without a reaction. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your glasses. I stopped in after accidentally sleeping on my glasses. They adjusted them for me with no problem. I just purchased new glasses in a Silohuette frame. They custom cut the lenses to a shape I wanted and had them done in a week.
